FAQ's Social Security Disability (SSD)
Our firm is asking for donations for used assistive devices such as canes, walkers, wheelchairs and/or braces so that they can be recycled to our own clients and/or their families. While a patient may have a prescription for a cane… it doesn’t mean they can afford one.
We welcome these devices and ask that you reconsider before you throw anything like this away. Someone could, and will use it.
Our senior partner is collecting clothing and assistive devices (braces, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) to bring with her to Cuba when she travels to speak to the 2010 Neurorehabana Conference wherein she was asked to present on the effects of chronic pain. We welcome any donations of used assistive devices. Children’s clothing is also welcome.
